My entry for the October 2017 Anthro Challenge: Magical Girls. I won third place! :w00t:

I had a blast with this theme! You can tell I really enjoyed working on the background and effects. I have a soft spot for anything sparkly and bejeweled. Topaz’s design here is inspired to some degree by the Tynix form from Winx Club Season 7. The timing of this Anthro Challenge theme was absolutely perfect; I had just finished watching Winx Club Season 7 when I saw this theme announced in my DeviantART inbox.

Thee word “topaz” comes from the Sanskrit word for fire, “tapas.” It’s fitting for Topaz in many ways. :D

By the way, if “Phantom Thief” is ever an Anthro Challenge theme, I will drop everything to draw something for it.
