Welcome to the New Year

Aww, isn't this heartwarming? This is the January page of the 2010 calendar! I bet a lot of people were looking forward to this!

This was the first picture I've (partially) colored with PhotoShop Elements. What a way to start off 2010!

Initially I planned to include the actual calendar part with it, but the program I made it on was deleted from the computer to make room for PhotoShop Elements. So was PhotoImpression!

For critiquers: I intentionally don't shade; I prefer the look of flat coloring
Drawn and inked traditionally, digital inking done on Inkscape, digital coloring done with PhotoShop Elements and Inkscape
