Self-Portraits in Illustrator: 1, 5, and 10 Colors

This was a project for my introductory (!) graphic design course, Computer Applications in Graphic Design. _{I think the point of this class' difficulty and why we had such difficult starting projects was to weed out the people who aren't "committed" enough...in any case, I got an A-, so I must be great graphic designer material.}

 For this project, I had to draw three self-portraits of myself, but there was a catch. For one portrait, we could only use one color (white does not count as a color in graphic design), for another we had to use five colors, and for another we had to use ten colors. We were not allowed to use spot colors (that is, lighter versions of the same color) and we could not use gradients.

This project sticks out to me in that my professor and I had totally opposite preferences. I like the 10-color portrait the best and the 5-color portrait the least, yet she (this was a different professor than the one I have for Visual Communications and Typography) liked the 5-color portrait the most and the 10-color portrait the least.
