Here's my part for the 's Autumn Art Exchange.

I had to invent the character design since the person I was drawing for didn't have a reference picture, only a vague physical description and a setting. Unlike most people, I enjoy creating and drawing characters from descriptions. The character's name is Halcyon Pump, and he is an ocelot.

Speaking of the setting, it was...interesting...to do. The recipient asked for his character to be on the run in a sci-fi esque dystopian city. I thought that had potential to be an interesting idea, so I took it and ran with it. Even without this information, the picture suggests a story.

On a side note, looking at this picture in its finished form, it reminds me of the picture I drew for the second season of Jet Set Radio: The Animated Series. The composition, color tones and theme are really similar. Despite this, they suggest different moods to me. This picture suggests to me more action, a fugitive on the verge of being captured, whereas the latter picture suggests more of a quieter, stealthy atmoshpere. Still, it makes for an interesting comparison.
