Eternity Summer Pt 4

9:20 PM
Concorde stepped out of the bar and onto the dance floor, with Dixie in one wing and Pollyanna in the other. Dixie was wearing a sleek satin magenta dress with a large buckle in the middle and matching high heels. She had on long, translucent gloves, a pink headband with a bow on it and light purple makeup. Pollyanna wore a frilly pink and black dress with a transparent midriff and pink and black shoes.

Concorde was glad to be rid of the bar; he had just gone through the weirdest conversation with Sable and Angel. He went over to chat with them-he hadn't seen either of them in a long time-only to be told they'd seen him an hour ago. Sable wasn't in a particularly pleasant mood, either: she was annoyed that the falcon flew off in the middle of their last interview. Concorde couldn't ever remember doing that; perhaps the two had been at the bar too long.

Pollyanna impatiently gestured towards the dance floor.
"We are going to dance, right?" she demanded.
"O-of course!" Concorde's focus snapped back to her. "Let's go, Dixie!" The heroness followed him onto the dance floor.
"Ah was looking forward to dancing with you, Concorde!"

All the sudden, the lights around the dance floor dimmed and a voice came through the speakers.
"All you singles get off the floor and make way for the couples!"

Within ten seconds, the dance floor was deserted. The threesome made their way into the center of the dance floor. A few couples followed. The music began, starting with a fast jazz tune. Dixie glanced around at the other couples.
"So how are we going to do this with ouah threesome?"
"We'll just have to improvise," Concorde grabbed her right wing and Pollyanna's left. "Now we...put one foot behind the other!" Pollyanna looked around
"This looks right. Then you spin me to your other side, and do the same with Dixie." Concorde spun Pollyanna around and did so with Dixie, too. When he did the last part, the two hens crashed into each other and fell to the floor. They both got up laughing.
"Well, I guess that's enough of that," Pollyanna giggled.
"Yeah, we learned our lesson," Concorde agreed. "Leave the dancing to the couples."

I think it's been at least a month since I last uploaded one of these; I should try to get these up more regularly. This one's been sitting on my desktop 95% finished for almost two months now and I haven't gotten around to uploading it until now.
